Orthodontics for children
We recommend a first orthodontic consultation from age 6, when the first permanent teeth erupt. This consultation makes it possible to assess whether treatment is needed and to determine the ideal time to start it. Early treatment uses the child's growth to correct dental irregularities simply and gently. In some cases, it may be preferable to wait. A second screening is then carried out around age 10 to check that the permanent teeth are developing properly.
